Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This notice has been prepared by Vermak-san Makine Tekstil Ayakkabı San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. ("Vermaksan"), in its capacity as data controller, pursuant to Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). It explains for which purposes your personal data are processed, to whom they may be transferred and your rights in this respect when you visit our website or contact us.

2. Personal data processed

If you fill in the contact form on our website or reach us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail, the following data, which you provide to us of your own accord, are processed:

• Identity information: first and last name
• Contact information: phone number, e-mail address
• Request information: the subject you select and the information you write in your message

In addition, when you visit our website, transaction security data (IP address, date and time of visit, browser information) are recorded in the logs of the server hosting the site.

Our website does not offer membership, payment or online sales; no data are collected for these purposes.

3. Purposes of processing

Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:

• Responding to your requests and questions,
• Preparing quotations for our products and services,
• Recording and managing technical service, maintenance and spare parts requests,
• Carrying out after-sales support processes,
• Ensuring the security of our website and preventing misuse,
• Fulfilling our obligations arising from the applicable legislation.

4. Legal basis and method of collection

Your personal data are collected electronically through the contact form on our website, phone calls, WhatsApp and e-mail correspondence and, during your visit to the site, automatically through server logs. The data are processed on the legal grounds set out in KVKK Art. 5/2-(c) (being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract), Art. 5/2-(ç) (fulfilment of a legal obligation) and Art. 5/2-(f) (legitimate interest); in all other cases, on the basis of your explicit consent.

5. Transfer

Your personal data may be transferred to the following parties only to the extent necessary to fulfil the purposes listed above:

• The service provider from which we receive services for hosting our website and e-mail accounts,
• Our suppliers and business partners from whom we receive services, to the extent required by the quotation, delivery and service process,
• Authorized public institutions and organizations and judicial authorities, upon request.

Your message in the contact form is forwarded to us by e-mail; it is not stored separately on our website. Your data are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Retention period

Your personal data are retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which they are processed, taking into account the limitation periods laid down in the applicable legislation; at the end of this period they are erased, destroyed or anonymized.

7. Your rights under KVKK Art. 11

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data are processed,
• To request information if they have been processed,
• To learn the purpose of the processing and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
• To know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom they are transferred,
• To request their rectification if they have been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
• To request their erasure or destruction under KVKK Art. 7,
• To request that rectification, erasure and destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data have been transferred,
• To object to any outcome to your detriment resulting from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
• To claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.

8. Applications

You can send your requests regarding the rights above by e-mail to info@vermaksan.com.tr or in writing to Fevziçakmak Mah. 10718. Sk. No:2, 42020 Karatay/Konya. Your application must clearly state your first name, last name, contact details at which we can reach you and your request. Applications are concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request; if the process entails an additional cost, the fee in the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.

9. Cookies and third-party content

Our website does not place cookies on visitors' devices; it does not use analytics or advertising tools that track visitors.

The map on our contact page is provided by Google, and some of the images on our site are provided by an image server located abroad. While this content loads, your browser connects directly to the relevant provider and your IP address is transmitted to it; the map provider may use its own cookies. When you click the WhatsApp and YouTube links on our site, the relevant platform's own terms apply.
